TEDDIE STORYChief Executive Officer, ext. 203 Teddie joined Irving Cares as a staff member in August 1996 after a 15-year career in banking and volunteering as an Irving Cares board member since 1991. She was hired as the first Coordinator of Volunteers, and was promoted to lead the agency in January 2003. She is responsible for the overall management of Irving Cares, program development and performance and supervision of all staff. Teddie is a life-long Irving resident, and her husband is a 30-year member of the Irving Fire Department. They have two sons, 18 and 22 years old. |
SALLY HENDRICKSIntake Receptionist, ext. 201 Sally joined Irving Cares in October 1995 after a brief stint as a volunteer helping a former Executive Director with administrative duties. She greets clients at the door, gathers information to create client files and prepares files for the Case Managers. |

KIMBERLY HUMPHRIES, CFREDevelopment Director, ext. 202 Kimberly joined Irving Cares in October 2002 and has been a fundraiser in the DFW area since 1996. Kimberly is responsible for raising money for Irving Cares programs and general operating expenses and oversees the Development Division. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). |

MARY CORTÉSSenior Case Manager, ext. 216 Mary provides Case Management Services for English and Spanish-speaking clients. She also trains and supervises our volunteer case managers. Mary has been with Irving Cares since September 2002. |

BEVERLY WILBORNDegreed Case Manager, ext. 204 Beverly joined Irving Cares in July 2011 after 19 years as Case Manager at Family Outreach at the Irving Family Advocacy Center. Her earlier employment was with Texas Child Protective Services. Beverly has a social work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her knowledge about Irving resources is a great tool to help match clients with resources to help them maintain self-sufficiency. |

KYLE TAYLORCoordinator of Volunteers, ext. 209 Kyle is a lifelong Irving resident with a background in retail grocery and financial services. Kyle joined Irving Cares as a volunteer in the Employment Services program in July 2010. He presented the weekly Job Search Seminar where he advised and inspired clients seeking employment. In April 2012, Kyle was named Irving Cares “Volunteer of the Year.” When the Coordinator of Volunteers position became available, Kyle joined the staff where he manages the food pantry and more than 200 volunteers serving the agency. |
MARY SHELTONEmployment Services Case Manager, ext. 207 Mary Shelton was hired as Employment Services Manager in December 2007. She helps clients identify and eliminate barriers to employment. Mary can offer job leads that match the client’s skill set, help them pay for GED testing or childcare, and give them direction in their job search. She offers weekly Job Search Seminars helping clients learn how to complete applications, submit resumes, dress for success, and master interview skills. |

LOU JONESIntake Specialist, ext. 213 As of August 2010, Lou performs the initial steps of data entry to create and update client database records. A lifelong Irving resident and MacArthur High School graduate, Lou is also Secretary of the Board at Irving North Christian Church. |

MONICA OLIVERPatient Transportation Coordinator, ext. 215 Monica began volunteering at Irving Cares in January 2002 in the food pantry and as an administrative volunteer. She was hired in May 2006, and transports clients to their medical appointments and delivers as well as providing administrative support in the office. |

JULIA BLACKProgram Manager, ext. 210 Julia joined Irving Cares as a food pantry volunteer in March 2004 and was hired as staff in April 2004. Development Associate since September 2005, and now Program Manager since 2008, Julia ensures our compliance with funders’ guidelines. |

MICHELLE FLORESBilingual Case Manager, ext. 205 Michelle Flores started as Bilingual Case Manager in September 2011. She is a graduate of Grand Prairie High School with a background in customer service most recently with the City of Dallas. Michelle’s communication skills and responsiveness advance our goal of serving residents in need with dignity and respect. She uses her Spanish-speaking skills to assess client’s circumstances and recommend solutions to aid self-sufficiency. |
