How to Help / Donate Food

In families without adequate financial resources, people typically go without basic human needs, such as food.

The results are lasting and jeopardize long-term health, the ability to learn, employment, and earnings potential…ultimately perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

Last month the Irving Cares food pantry fed 654 families with a week’s worth of nutritious groceries. The average food pantry order weighs 80 pounds and has a retail value of more than $150.

Your donations are essential. We get groceries from food drives, the North Texas Food Bank and bulk purchases at the lowest possible price.

In a recent survey one client wrote,  ”I didn’t know how I was going to feed everyone, and with help from all of you I was able to do it.”

Help us feed our neighbors.
